Mega
Group's forensic team is experienced in the broad range of investigative,
analytical and forensic techniques necessary for collecting, accessing
and reconstructing data from computers, PDA's, audit trails, networks,
fax and print server files and firewall logs. Our forensic investigative
team recovers files and emails that have been deleted, erased, hidden,
reformatted or partially over-written. Specialized software is used
to access files that are password-protected and to identify file
names and extensions that have been disguised. Hard disks are installed
at our lab on specially designed workstations that allow investigators
to view the copied disk and run the applications exactly as they
appear in a native operating environment. Our forensic team reconstructs
not only files, but browser and email histories, cookie and zip
files, calendars, downloads and other pertinent information, providing
a snapshot of how the computer was used. Adhering to the highest
standards, electronic data is collected, imaged and secured for
use in court or for other proceedings.
