Effective Workers Compensation investigations present insured employers with a compelling deterrence factor that conveys the message to potential perpetrators that fraudulent claims will be investigated.
Those guilty will be discovered, providing the means by which to terminate, formally charge, prosecute and/or demand restitution. Discreet Activity Checks are conducted to confirm a claimant's current residence, employment status and physical activities. These results are then used to customize specifications for surveillance. AOE/COE investigations are conducted by bilingual investigators to determine causation of an injury, as well as develop background information in relation to apportionment, subrogation and serious and willful misconduct. Photographs and diagrams of the accident site are customary, as is the obtaining of a signed release for retrieval of employment and medical records.
